SUPERNOVA! – Poetry At the Bowery Poetry Club (NYC)
On Thursday, January 18th, SUPERNOVA brings together acclaimed writers to perform at the Bowery Poetry Club in support of the VONA (Voices of Our Nations Arts) Summer Writing Workshops for writers of color.
Hosted by Suheir Hammad, SUPERNOVA features Sapphire, Willie Perdomo, and Victor LaValle, with a special appearance by Beau Sia. These award-winning writers and veteran performers who will light up the stage with their unforgettable work. The evening will also feature stellar VONA alumni, including the world premier of Kelly Tsai’s spoken-word video, directed by Karen Lin (ZuZu Films).
