Lavish in a lush antebellum Southern mystique as this multimedia Blues Opera brings you on a journey to freedom. Protagonists Bell and LizaSue are lovers who conjure and connive in order to conquer the circumstance of slavery. This choreo-drama paints the sensual subjectivity of Black women seeking the ultimate freedom–the freedom to love.
Presented as a part of the 2nd Annual Capital Fringe Festival. July 19- 29, 2007. For more information visit www.capfringe.
