Join us for this spectacular night of reading and performance featuring the performance duo Aquamoon, a team that “bridges the gap between hip-hop feminism, performance activism, and academia.” They will be performing excerpts form their book/cd Aquabeats and Moon Verses Volume 1, a choreopoem that follows in the footsteps of visionary writers and performers Ntosake Shange and Eve Ensler, and from their individual works Om: My Sistagirl Lotus, and butta to fly. Jolie du Pre is a writer of erotica and erotic romance. She will be reading her story from the anthology she edited, Iridescence: Sensuous Shades of Lesbian Erotica
