*BUTCH BOTTOMS*
Editor: Maria Angeline
“Butch” and “top” may sometimes seem to be attached at the hip. Many will mistakenly insist that these terms mean the same thing! They most certainly are not a package deal. You might see plenty of personal ads with “Butch Top” in the title, but the truth is out there: butch bottoms exist, and they are everywhere. It’s time that sweet place where masculinity meets bottoming is put on display by the writers who know
there’s nothing finer than a butch offering up power.
Butch Bottoms is expected to be released in 2009. I need stories about the diversity of butch bottoms: female, genderqueer, transgender, transsexual, male, intersex or just human, of any sexual orientation, bottoming, submitting, or acting on masochist desires.
Guidelines:
• Erotica only.
• Submit stories of 1500-6000 words to ButchBottomsSubmissions at gmail
dot com.
• Put the title of your story in the subject line of the email. Each story must be emailed separately.
• Submissions must be sent as Word files with text in 12 point Times New Roman font and must be double-spaced.
• Include your legal name, pseudonym (if any) you wish to use, address, phone number, email and a bio (selected authors will be asked to update their bios prior to publication) above the title of your submission
directly on the Word file.
• Unpublished material will strongly be considered.
• Previously published material will also be considered, provided you have retained your rights; please submit previous publication information (and the terms of your copyright agreement) in these cases.
• You may submit more than one piece of writing.
Authors maintain and control the copyright of their stories and license their First North American Rights to Merge Press for publication purposes. Authors retain the right to reprint their material in any publication. Contributing writers will share 25% of the net profits of Butch Bottoms and receive a free copy of the anthology.
