I looked up from my scanner
and met her eyes
-they said hello
her smile said, "Are you single?"
my smile said, "It doesn't matter."
 so I took my finger
 and touched her lips
 they said, "it's about time."
 I dropped my packages
and she took me into her arms
 and fell into my mouth
 my tongue surrendering to the
 softness of her capture . . .
my heart melted into the softness
of her succulent pressure of flesh
-she slowly pulled back
the kiss became more desperate with
every ounce of strength it was taking me
 to let her go . . .
How sweet the story of a woman
-a woman
 I've never kissed.
