oh child of Christian faith
tormented soul in Bible belt's wake
naysaying tongues
sneering eyes
by which God do you abide?
uttered prayer on bended knee
hoping asking begging to be free
woman love the devil's pride
by which God do you abide?
guilty conscious, mental wars
pulpit pimps, and soulless whores
by these my pitiful fate defined
in which kingdom I will reside
Hating the sinner, yet loving the sin
with dreaded nostalgia I look within
fearing his word with tears I plead
grant me discernment of this life I lead
Light and love, love and life
physical emotional mental strife
His words of wisdom sharp as bladed knife
yet tell me no sin in taking a wife
Kingdom of Heaven Child of Grace
God's great glory upon my face
The Word in right hand
wife by my side
by the Lord do we abide
