Why should I beg?
Why should I plead?
All I do everyday is promise myself to you
No other relationship matters NOR will it ever matter...............really
I am not just talking to you physically, I am talking to the part of you that knows me
the part of you that knows only me............and I know that part of you exists.
maybe not today
or tomorrow
next week
or next year
I can wait
It is going to take more than this to get you to trust and believe in me, in my love, and ultimate devotion for you.
It utterly surprises me that you do the things you do, say the things you say....... to get to me.
you know me
you have known me for quite some time now,and you still will not admit it.
I am not here to run game on you
I never have
and never will.
I just think it is good for you to knowthat through storms, sunshine, sleet, snow, hail and troubling times with others,
there is always home.........in me..........for you ...............and OUR sons.
that IS my perfect family
my only realityand will always be
forever more
even if ( as we are) we are forced to spend our lives apart......seperated....
with others
wasting time
killing time
until another era
until other days
only YOU make me feel the way you do
and only YOU ever will
YOU alone, make me strive for better days
cause I know there will be one .................soon
