Although the beginning seemed innocent and pure,
Thoughts of even opening up were still unsure,
With steal around my heart and emotions shot with Novocain,
Thoughts of becoming serious was definitely insane,
I didn't want any pain so I kept pain away,
Saying to myself "this is all a BIG GAME",
Laughter was the cure, the cure for all things,
Even things that weren't funny, or things I didn't mean,
Although I tried hard and put up a fight,
My senses all returned after the actions of last night,
Passion and pain mixed with truth and lies,
Leaves me all confused and the next morning with a surprise,
Could it be happening, not this feeling again,
I thought it was gone forever and you would remain my friend,
But a new door opened, one I fought to stay shut...
