__________(Part II of I Remember: Back In the Day)
__________by Antoinette M.
I must be Tupac cause all eyes are on me
Is it the tight hair, my suave flair, or my pocket full of money?
Since high school things sure did change
Bitches treat you funny when you roll up driving a brand new range
I got more bling bling than the cash money boyz on stage
Dressed supafly like Missy in head to toe Johnny Blaze
I cause more chaos on campus than "E" does at a rave
I'm not over 6 six foot like Shaq but I still got game
All the women want to get next to me
My little black book is bigger than a national directory
I'm now ballin' hard enough to have every female that I see
The girls from high school who used to sit back and dis me
Come slip numbers in my pocket and beg to kiss me
They must think I've gotten amnesia over the matter of 2 Septembers
Don't get it twisted bitches because I still remember
One day when I was walking through the hall
I saw you sitting there in the back corner by the wall
My heart must have stopped not a word could I utter
I certainly wasn't Joe because I couldn't even stutter
Memories overwhelmed me like the Hoover dam had broken
I had to escape before you saw that my heart was still wide open
I sat alone under a tree trying to escape the feelings you awoke inside of me
My emotions got the best of me and I decided to flee
Tears flooded my eyes until I could no longer see
It wasn't long though before you found me
With one look I wanted you and I to once again be we
You took my hand and it felt perfect like cream and coffee
You led me from my empty existence back into your heart
We didn't have a great end but this would be a good start
We embraced for a moment and decided to head back to your place
Our clothes were flung from our bodies until there was no trace
I sucked your neck and nibbled your lobe quite desperate for a taste
I licked you from your earrings to your pearl
I had you screaming and pleading to be my only girl
I took you to the places where you could not think
I felt your body shimmer as I had you on the brink
The next thing you felt was a cold void in your warm place
I gathered up my clothes and wiped your juices from my face
I wanted you so bad but my heart wouldn't let me stay
All because of what you said one night back in the day
