you know i try to be subtle
when using words to express much more
but the thoughts i want to describe..
make vivid in your imagination
are far from dainty
but i`ll do my best..
cuz you need to know that i still feel
our trip from austin to cleveland
it was nice to have someone share the ride with me
it was nice to be able to relax
and enjoy the ride
as you skillfully steered and directed
through peaks and valleys
makin rough spots smooth
dry ice like hot oil
til we reached cleveland
where we toured the city
stoppin at points of interest
the hot spots
which i did enjoy the most, baby
so much that when i looked up
i realized you`d been driving the whole ride
so....
on our way back to austin
stroke my locs
as i take us back down
usin the scenic route
findin places to bring you smiles
and take your breath away
taking you anywhere you want to go
until you tell me you`re tired of riding
then we`ll watch the colors of the dusk
dance off our glowin bodies
and share memories of our trip
makin plans to ride again
very soon...
