by Felicia Ann

I come to you a woman,
with so much to say
but the words won't come.
Like the midnight I creep
quietly and harrowing into
your heart. Do you know my
thoughts before my lips speak
them? I rose again alone to
wonder and trap you inside
the thoughts of our awkward
silence. As a woman, I come
to you proving who I am and
warming everything I touch that
is fresh and unknown, just like
my love for you.
