Guidelines for The Kuma Art Gallery
Thanks for your interest in submitting artwork/photography to Kuma. Before sending in
your submission, please read & follow all of these steps. If you follow these guidelines, it makes
processing submissions easier for us.
On Kuma2.net, art work and photography appear in Kuma Gallery
- Subject Matter
- We are looking for paintings, sketches, photography, comic strips and other forms of art which explore/examine/celebrate our sensuality/sexuality.
- We need to have 3 pieces minimum to create a gallery space.
- Content
- We do not want images that depict non-consensual sex or illegal activities
- Format
- We want high quality images
- No grainy, blurry, or small images
- We can accept the following formats: gif, jpg, or tiff
- If you are sending several images, feel free to compress them into a .zip file
- How To Submit
- All submissions must contain your contact information:
- Your real name, your street address, email address, and a telephone number
- This information is just for our records and will never be given to anyone else.
- We can not display your work if you do not provide contact information
- Tell Us:
- if you want to use your real name on your work or if you want to use a pen name
- if you want to receive reader feedback and which email address you want responses to go to
- The copyright year for each piece. (The copyright year is just the year the work was written/completed
in.)
- If you want
- You can send us a bio and picture of yourself.
- You can send a mini essay about each piece. Talk about how you feel about it or what inspired you to create it.
- Email submissions:
- We prefer to art submission sent as attachments
- Send your work to art@kuma2.net and put Art Submission as the subject
- Your submission may go to the spam folder if you use the wrong subject
- Within 48 hours you should receive confirmation that we have received your submission.
