The Sakia Gunn Film Project
Sakia Gunn is a 15 year old aggressive who was murdered when she rebuffed the sexual advances of a man. The film’s mission is to make Black LGBT kids more visible and less vulnerable.


Zuna Institute
Zuna Institute was created to focus on eliminating barriers that Black Lesbians face within the Black community and in the LGBT community.


Black Aids Institute
the first Black HIV/AIDS policy center dedicated to reducing HIV/AIDS health disparities by mobilizing Black institutions and individuals in efforts to confront the epidemic in their communities.


National Youth Advocacy Council
National Youth Advocacy Council in launching the “Hurricane Katrina LGBT Relief Fund” to ensure that LGBT youth and families, among the members of our community, receive the critical support they need to regain stability in their lives.
