{"id":871,"date":"2010-04-04T09:31:22","date_gmt":"2010-04-04T14:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kuma2.net\/blog\/?p=871"},"modified":"2010-04-04T09:31:22","modified_gmt":"2010-04-04T14:31:22","slug":"the-edgar-richards-scholarship-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kuma2.net\/blog\/?p=871","title":{"rendered":"The Edgar Richards&#8217; Scholarship Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last four years of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lgbtran.org\/Profile.aspx?ID=159\" target=\"_blank\">Edgar Richards&#8217;<\/a> life, Edgar was utterly dedicated to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theriversidechurchny.org\/getinvolved\/?maranatha\" target=\"_blank\">Maranatha<\/a>&#8216;s vision and the life of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theriversidechurchny.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Riverside Church<\/a>.  The $1,000 scholarship that was set up in his honor recognizes this service.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship committee is looking for young people who have been active in the LGBTQ community and dedicated in service to the similar work that Edgar was.
