\nI wanted to take this time to share a great performance of the the Black season: Shifting focus to women of color on the L word weekly series Pre-show presented by Queer Black Cinema.org. This series was not only created to highlight the women of color on the L word in front and behind the lens but also to help raise funds for our 4th Annual FADES OF BLACK WOMYN FILM SHOWCASE 2009.<\/p>\n

This year in honor of women’s month, we are honoring award winning Trinidadian Black British Lesbian filmmaker, Campbell X (formally known as Inge Blackman). Campbell currently resides in London, UK. The event will take place March 26, 2009 at the Brecht Forum in NYC from 7 PM – 10 PM. I am asking you to please help spread the word. Feel free to pass this video along.
