This series was not only created to highlight the women of color on the L word in front and behind the lens but also to help raise funds for our 4th Annual FADES OF BLACK WOMYN FILM SHOWCASE 2009.<\/p>\n<p>This year in honor of women&#8217;s month, we are honoring award winning Trinidadian Black British Lesbian filmmaker, Campbell X (formally known as Inge Blackman). Campbell currently resides in London, UK. The event will take place March 26, 2009 at the Brecht Forum in NYC from 7 PM &#8211; 10 PM. I am asking you to please help spread the word.
