{"id":26,"date":"2006-10-18T22:37:28","date_gmt":"2006-10-19T02:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kuma2.net\/blog\/?p=26"},"modified":"2006-10-18T22:37:28","modified_gmt":"2006-10-19T02:37:28","slug":"kuma-message-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kuma2.net\/blog\/?p=26","title":{"rendered":"Kuma Message Board?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The program I was testing to restart the Steam Room ultimately was unsatisfactory.\u00a0 So for now the status of that area is unchanged&#8211;it&#8217;s still just an archive of past challenges and tales.<\/p>\n<p>While I was looking at new\u00a0programs, I found a message board script and briefly considered using it for interactive stories, etc.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve scrapped that idea, but the message board is still installed on the site.<\/p>\n<p>So, before I delete it from our servers, I thought I&#8217;d ask Kuma readers&#8211;do you want a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kuma2.net\/phpbb2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Message Board<\/a>?\u00a0 On one hand, there are sooo many boards already available, does Kuma really need one?\u00a0 On the other hand, Kuma readers (and writers) may want to interact in a community type forum&#8211;I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Comments for this entry will be open&#8211;so let me know what you think.\u00a0 Also, if you think we should have one&#8211;please suggest a topic or 2.\u00a0 What\u00a0kinds of things would you like to see discussed.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The program I was testing to restart the Steam Room ultimately was unsatisfactory.\u00a0 So for now the status of that area is unchanged&#8211;it&#8217;s still just an archive of past challenges and tales.
