Join ALP in honoring the work and life of Audre Lorde. A reading of her poetry, essays and memoirs by writers, artists and organizers such as Andrew Blint, Cheryl Clarke, Cristina Izaguirre, Holiday Simmons and Roopa Singh and others as they share with us pieces of her legacy. $10-$20, sliding scale, no one turned away.<\/p>\n
Directions: 172 Allen St. btwn Stanton and Rivington. F train to 2nd Ave or to Essex \/ Delancey.<\/p>\n
All proceeds go to ALP, a community organizing center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming people of color communities.<\/p>\n
