We provide a place to celebrate contemporary poetry, prose, short stories and artwork by experienced and emerging artists alike. We prefer our contributors to take risks and offer a diverse body of work that examines and challenges preconceived notions regarding race, ethnicity, gender roles, and identity.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"EC_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"EC_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\"><font size=\"3\">Some previously featured contributors to <em>Torch<\/em> are <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sharonbridgforth.com\/\">Sharon Bridgforth<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.shiashabazz.com\/\">Shia Shabazz<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wordwoman.ws.\/\">Patricia Smith<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.remicalbingham.com\/\">Remica L. Poems should be individually typed on separate pages.
