Call for Submissions
 
Anthology/collection of experiences of bisexual women of African descent

Submission Deadline: April 2007
I am compiling an anthology on the experiences and thoughts of bisexual women of African descent.  What are the experiences, desires, concerns and stories that shape your life? What is it that you would like the world, your family, your friends, your partner, other bi women to know about bisexual culture and community from the perspective of a Black bisexual woman?
 
Acceptable submissions include:
Original previously unpublished creative, short nonfiction and fiction, personal narratives, stories, open letters, poetry, light erotica (PG 13 rating please)
 
Manuscripts will be returned upon your request. Please send a SASE if you would like your manuscript returned.
 
A variety of topics are acceptable. Some examples are:
bisexuality and marriage  
bisexuality and same sex partners  
spiritual/religious issues of bisexual  women
sex, gender, identity  
coming out     
bisexuality and cultural issues
motherhood and bisexuality
single women and dating  
polyamorous relationships 
 
Contributions are welcome from any woman of African descent who considers herself bisexual (single, married, poly, etc) and requests for anonymity will be respected.
